TechniSat (TechniSat Automotive BU) was providing hardware for VAG.
In 2016 TechniSat was bought by Joyson Electronics (Ningbo Joyson Electronic Corp.) and Preh (Preh GmbH). They created Preh Car Connect.
The same year Joyson (Joyson Preh Car Connect) was incorporated.
In 2020 Joyson with Preh in Joyson Electronics. They form the Smart Connectivity BU with new brand name JOYNEXT.
