Those three names - TechniSat, Preh, and JOYNEXT - should be considered as one company.
History [1]
TechniSat (TechniSat Automotive BU) was providing hardware for VAG.
In 2016 TechniSat was bought by Joyson Electronics (Ningbo Joyson Electronic Corp.) and Preh (Preh GmbH). They created Preh Car Connect.
The same year Joyson (Joyson Preh Car Connect) was incorporated.
In 2020 Joyson merged with Preh in Joyson Electronics. They formed the Smart Connectivity BU with new brand name JOYNEXT.
